LIST OF ACTIONS FOR EPAP COORDINATOR IN AN EVENT
- You need to take control and manage the emergency event in your District. Do whatever you need to do to handle the situation.
- MRTs should report to the Command Post or check in with the EPAP Coordinator via your tactical radio channel.
- Dispatch your Zone Captains according to your District plan.
- Dispatch your FAST teams as needed.
- Establish radio contact between all 3 EPAP Coordinators and MRTs in Companion Group. This will assure that you can communicate with each other.
- Establish radio contact with the EOC, by checking in to notify that each command post in your Companion Group is set-up and operational.
- Monitor the EOC on 4-0 to hear event updates and instructions.
- Contact the EOC as needed to report your status and make requests. They may be able to contact other Districts to help. The EOC is your lifeline. Keep in contact during the event.
- Always remain in radio contact with the EOC until notified that the event has ended by the EOC.
- After an Event, be sure to up-date your resident Zone list data with any changes.
- Do you follow the EPAP Coordinator Position Description and check your supplies bin regularly?
- Do you know where your radios are kept? Do you check them monthly? Are they in a cool place indoors? Do you have spare batteries?
